Work Environment This role is based in our outpatient office where our team collaborates closely to foster a nurturing and motivating atmosphere. Open Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, the clinic serves a steady flow of patients, allowing for a dynamic and engaging work environment. With a manageable patient volume of approximately two patients per hour, you will have ample time to provide individualized attention and care to each patient. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities to develop tailored treatment plans. Administer hands-on therapy, incorporating effective manual techniques and movement-based interventions to facilitate recovery. Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises, educating them on proper methods for injury prevention and promoting long-term health. Continuously assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and support staff, to optimize patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment strategies. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate documentation and streamline patient management processes. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily provide care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and musculoskeletal disorders. This role emphasizes a patient-centric approach, ensuring that each individual receives tailored interventions that align with their unique needs and recovery goals. Qualifications A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing. A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient setting, particularly with orthopedic patients. Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a deep understanding of movement-based treatments. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to manage patient records efficiently and accurately. A clean professional record with no prior board actions or disciplinary issues. Preferred Experience While two years of experience in an outpatient setting is required, candidates with advanced certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or specialized training in manual therapy will be viewed favorably. Experience managing high volumes of patients and familiarity with evidence-based practices in orthopedic care will also distinguish ideal candidates. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
