Desired Skills and Experience:

Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Ohio Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Ability to effectively manage PreK-12 caseloads across a variety of functional needs Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and fellow professionals Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and upholding confidentiality

What Youll Do:

Conduct assessments and create tailored treatment plans for students with varying physical and developmental needs Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals, adjusting strategies as needed for student progress Consult with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom activities and learning environments Participate in IEP meetings, providing critical insight into students physical abilities and challenges Maintain accurate, timely records of student progress and intervention outcomes Educate families and caregivers about at-home exercises and strategies for continued development This role offers the flexibility of part-time hours, giving you the opportunity to balance your professional and personal commitments while making an impact.
