In this contract role, you'll work onsite part-time, just two days per week, providing crucial services to a diverse caseload of 21 students in a collaborative educational environment near New Lexington, OH. Your expertise will help young learners achieve greater independence and reach their fullest potential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid and current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Ohio Experience or strong interest in working with PreK-12 populations Previous school-based PT experience is highly valued Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong clinical judgment and creative problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess students physical development and functional abilities in alignment with IEP goals Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored for the needs of each student Track progress, complete thorough documentation, and maintain accurate reports Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating on student objectives and strategies Provide guidance and support to educators and caregivers to reinforce physical therapy strategies in the classroom Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for student growth Embrace the ideal work-life balance with part-time hours, hands-on impact, and the chance to support young learners in reaching their goals.
