Qualifications:

Masters degree in Physical Therapy required Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based physical therapy Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess students physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on functional mobility and participation in school activities Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate physical therapy goals into students educational plans Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as a clinical expert Provide guidance to school staff on strategies and adaptive techniques that promote student success Contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
