Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid Texas Physical Therapist license (PT in TX) Experience working with school-aged children, K-12, preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and staff Ability to develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals related to gross motor needs Adaptable and solution-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert physical therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels, including evaluations, treatment planning, and direct interventions Document progress and maintain detailed session notes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational and functional outcomes for students Attend meetings as needed regarding student progress and IEP initiatives Educate staff and families on strategies to integrate therapeutic activities into the educational environment This role is designed for professionals seeking flexibility and meaningful impact.
