Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility spans 5000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technology for sports medicine. We focus on collaborative healthcare, valuing the expertise of our skilled team, which currently includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. We accept various private medical insurance carriers, ensuring that our patients receive top-notch care and support. Work Environment This role is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Haymarket, Virginia. Our work environment fosters professional development and teamwork, with a patient-centric philosophy guiding our everyday practices. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities Assess and establish individualized patient care plans based on comprehensive evaluations. Administer treatment sessions, focusing on orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation, seeing about 2 to 3 patients per hour. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy and exercise prescriptions, to enhance patients' mobility and functional capabilities. Educate patients on strategies to manage pain effectively, reduce reliance on medications, and offer alternatives to surgical interventions. Monitor and document treatment progress accurately to ensure effective communication with patients and healthcare team members. Develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs that address specific patient needs and promote a healthy lifestyle. Collaborate with other health professionals to optimize patient care outcomes. Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to help them reach their personal best in physical functionality. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients who are recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that impact their mobility. We work with a diverse range of individuals, tailoring our approaches to accommodate various age groups and lifestyle needs. By fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, we help patients regain confidence in their physical capabilities. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Active Virginia Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions. Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in administering effective exercise programs. Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and care management. Preferred Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from

USD 100,000

to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
