We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will work with children to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to promote physical development and functional mobility. Your role will be integral in improving the quality of life for our young patients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients to determine their physical therapy needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide age-appropriate physical therapy interventions to children and adolescents with a variety of conditions and diagnoses. Monitor and track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support the child's development. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy and evidence-based treatment methods. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for pediatric patients during therapy sessions.
Requirements:
Valid Virginia Physical Therapist license. Pediatric Physical Therapy experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children and their families. Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each pediatric patient. CPR certification or willingness to obtain it. Dedication to providing high-quality care to pediatric patients.
