Qualifications:

Current Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting Strong communication and organizational abilities Flexible and adaptable, with a student-centered mindset

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students physical abilities and needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and other specialists Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored to students IEP goals Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and monitor progress Educate staff and families on strategies to promote students access and participation in school activities Provide support for adaptive equipment as needed
