Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting student development in an engaging school environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide specialized physical therapy services for students through the academic year, fostering student success and growth.
Assignment Dates:
August 26, 2026 - June 9, 2027
Schedule:
Provide professional support for 30 minutes, twice a month (bi-weekly). In this role, you'll work closely with educational teams and directly support a student with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) by delivering targeted interventions in alignment with their goals. You will be valued for your expertise in physical therapy, with the flexibility and balance a part-time schedule can bring.
Key Qualifications:
Current Washington Professional Licensure for Physical Therapy is required ESA Certification for Physical Therapy is a must Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Ability to implement and document IEP goals and progress according to school and state guidelines Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the student's IEP, totaling 30 minutes bi-weekly Document sessions, student progress, and recommendations in accordance with school policies Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth Attend meetings, provide input for IEP updates, and suggest strategies to benefit student development Adhere to professional and regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest standards of care This contract assignment brings rewarding work in a supportive educational community, balanced with a convenient schedule.
