Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in the rehabilitation of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and home health environments. Duties Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide hands-on therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy and other modalities. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families about exercises and home care strategies to promote recovery. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with medical standards. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care within acute care settings or outpatient clinics. Skills Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices. Familiarity with medical terminology related to rehabilitation and patient care. Experience in outpatient settings or home health care is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times. Knowledge of various physical therapy techniques and modalities, including trigger point therapy.
