Stocking Full Job Description Physical Therapy Rehab Aide Position Available:

Boston Health and Wellness is a Doctor of Physical Therapist, woman owned, outpatient PT clinic in Stoneham, MA, right off Interstates 93 & 95. Boston Health and Wellness is looking for an energetic, motivated individual to join our team as a PT Aide. We are a physical therapy office that specializes in orthopedics, sports, and pelvic floor. At our clinic you will gain hands on experience and be part of a team that is committed to outstanding patient care. This is a great opportunity to gain experience for someone looking to pursue a future career in the healthcare setting, particularly physical therapy. We also have a 2 Therapy dogs on site daily named Samuel Adams & Paul Revere.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science and preferably pursuing a physical therapy degree. (Preferred)

CPR / AED

certification (Preferred)

Rehab Aide Responsibilities Include:

• Greet patients when they arrive
• Assist in preparation of patient treatment
• Assist with established therapeutic exercise programs
• Assist with hot and cold packs and e-stim
• Maintains and cleans treatment tables
• Assist with sending home exercise programs to patient via email and/or handout
• Provide effective verbal and visual cues to ensure proper execution of exercises and communicate with supervising PT on patient performance.
• Assist in stocking supplies and ensure clinic equipment is clean
• Multitasking
• Ability to bend, lift or assist with transfers and ambulation
• Be a positive contributor and teammate
• Training on EMR software will be provided
