Our work environment includes:

On-the-job training We are looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to work in our Greensboro location, to provide assistance to staff necessary for proper operation of facility. Perfect for a gap year after college graduation and prior to going to Physical Therapy school. Assistance includes but not limited to patient care under the instruction of therapist, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of clinic and office space, assist with front office tasks when needed, upkeep of equipment, and other tasks given by staff members. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well in order to establish good rapport with patients, and staff. Since the work environment is often fast-paced, it is essential to keep up with the pace and work independently as well as in groups.

Requirements:

1. Aide by established Core Values, mission statement and policies of ORPT 2. Protect patients, coworkers and others involved at ORPT confidentiality 3. Strive to improve ORPT and find solutions to challenges 4. CPR certification

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain cleanliness of facility and equipment. 2. Perform PT aide tasks as assigned. 3. Perform front office duties such as, answering phone calls, scanning items into patient's case, scheduling patients, administrative projects, computer projects, etc. 4. Assist with patient care under the direction and supervision of therapist 5. Order supplies for clinic and run local errands when needed 6. Maintain functionality of equipment and machines in clinic
