K Duties:

• Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercises and techniques for at-home care
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with DPTs and PT Aides to coordinate patient care
• Treat 1-2 patients per hour

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience working with orthopedic patients is preferred.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized PTA program from an accredited college
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and empathize with patients and colleagues
• Initiative to grow and develop clinical skills in order to provide high quality care.
