K Duties:
Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and function
Educate patients and their families on proper exercises and techniques for at-home care
Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Collaborate with DPTs and PT Aides to coordinate patient care
Treat 1-2 patients per hour
Skills:
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Experience working with orthopedic patients is preferred.
Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
Requirements:
Graduate from a recognized PTA program from an accredited college
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and empathize with patients and colleagues
Initiative to grow and develop clinical skills in order to provide high quality care.
