In-House Rehabilitation Starting Pay:
$45.00 per hour - Negotiable based on experience About the Position We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will work closely with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to provide quality rehabilitation services to our residents and help them achieve their highest level of functional independence. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and established goals. Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility, transfers, gait training, balance, and functional activities. Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely. Communicate changes in resident condition or functional status to the Physical Therapist and appropriate interdisciplinary team members. Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate. Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Follow facility policies, regulatory requirements, infection-control practices, and rehabilitation standards. Maintain professional relationships with residents, families, and facility staff. Qualifications Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current CPR certification preferred. SNF/long-term care experience preferred, but qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Compassionate and respectful approach when working with elderly and medically complex residents. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Compensation Starting rate:
$45.00/hourPay is negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit. Why Join Our Team?
