This contract opportunity offers a consistent, part-time schedule, working closely with an onsite team and a virtual Physical Therapist to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities include assisting in physical therapy sessions, documenting student progress, and adapting plans in coordination with supervising therapists. You'll help foster independence and maximize mobility for students throughout the school year. To be considered, candidates should possess: An active license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) recognized by the Physical Therapy Board of California An Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) for PTAs A passing score on the California Jurisprudence Assessment Module (CA JAM) Prior school-based experience is preferred, though not required Key position details: Contract runs from September 8, 2026, through May 21, 2027 20 hours each week, spread across 45 days Onsite role, partnering daily with the agency PT while also collaborating with a virtual supervising PT Caseload and student numbers will be finalized before start Work with a range of students from kindergarten through 12th grade Additional perks youll enjoy include weekly pay, comprehensive coverage for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a matching 401k plan, and a flexible spending account.
