Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with a passion for improving patient mobility and quality of life. This role involves implementing comprehensive treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, and delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in clinical documentation, medical terminology, and the operation of relevant medical equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Duties Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed clinical orthopedic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques focusing on sports rehabilitation and manual therapy . Administer therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote recovery and functional improvement. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR), maintaining compliance with clinical documentation standards. Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient treatment strategies and discharge planning. Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, treatment procedures, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery. Operate medical equipment safely such as blood flow restriction strength training (BFR), cup therapy, and scrapping. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed physical therapist or physical therapy assistant in the respective region or country. Proven experience in outpatient clinics. Strong understanding of physiotherapy treatment implementation across diverse patient populations including orthopedics, pool therapy, and sports specific rehabilitation. Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation standards. Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular systems. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for accurate record-keeping. Skilled in manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other hands-on modalities. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages as well as healthcare team members; compassionate caregiver communication is essential. Pay:
$33.00 - $52.00 per hour
