Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full-Time Civita Care Center at Long Ridge | Stamford, CT $33-$36/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Post Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of the therapy team at Civita Care Center at Long Ridge. Work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on care that helps residents improve mobility, increase strength, and make meaningful progress toward their functional goals. What You'll Do Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Guide residents through strengthening, balance, gait, transfer, and mobility activities Follow individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate relevant progress or changes Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe movement techniques Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals to support resident care What We Offer $33-$36/hour Full-time schedule Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education opportunities Supportive interdisciplinary therapy environment Short-term rehabilitation and long-term care experience Opportunities for career growth Qualifications Active Connecticut PTA license required Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to providing resident-centered rehabilitation Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply If you're a PTA who enjoys helping residents build confidence, improve function, and regain independence, we encourage you to apply.
