PRN / As Needed, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Compensation:

$35 per hour Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. Our center features a collaborative group of clinicians, including two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant. We treat a wide range of outpatient orthopedic conditions across all ages, diagnoses, and insurance types. Patients include those with general orthopedic needs as well as individuals requiring neuro, vestibular rehabilitation and fall-prevention programs. PTAs with a minimum of 1 yr outpatient orthopedic experience, APPLY! Join us and take the next step in your career. Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications
• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
• Minimum 1 yrs outpatient orthopedics experience.
