What You'll Do Our Physical Therapy Assistants are key members of the care team, helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Provide direct physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and outcomes. Assist with treatment planning, documentation, and communication of patient progress. Collaborate with patients and the care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. Maintain a safe, efficient therapy environment following established protocols. Qualifications
What We're Looking For Graduation from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program ✅ Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required ❤️ BLS/CPR Certification required While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply. Physical requirements
What you need to know A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care. Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
