Job Description

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient clinic in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you'll deliver hands-on care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, implementing treatment plans that include therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and modalities to restore mobility, function, and quality of life. You'll document patient progress, educate patients on home programs, and support smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and modalities Monitor, document, and report patient progress and response to therapy Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe functional activities Assist with patient scheduling, flow, and clinic efficiency Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in EMR systems Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and properly set up for treatments Collaborate with PTs and clinic team to adjust plans of care as needed Support quality, safety, and infection-control protocols in the clinic Participate in continuing education, in-services, and clinical development activities Required Skills Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation Therapeutic exercise implementation Manual therapy techniques (basic level) Use of rehab modalities (e.g., e-stim, ultrasound) Patient assessment and progress monitoring Clinical documentation/EMR proficiency Patient and family education Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and precautions Time management and caseload organization Interdisciplinary teamwork and communication
