Job Description

Job Description Multicare Health Clinic has an opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in our multidisciplinary clinic. You would be working under a DPT and with another PTA in an outpatient setting. Our clinic has chiropractors and medical physicians working together to get patients better - faster. In our clinic we perform a lot of MFR as well as other passive modalities such as STOT, Laser, IR, Gameready, etc as well as have active modalities as well. Job Hours Job hours are 8:30-5:50 Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Job Compensation Compensation is hourly, based on experience. Job Qualifications Must be graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate's degree, and have current Iowa PTA license, or getting licensed within the nearer future. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition. Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care. Perform trigger point therapy and other specialized techniques as needed.

Pay:

$20.00 - $48.00 per hour
