Responsibilities:

Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist Monitor patient progress, report findings to the physical therapist, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress Participate in patient education and discharge planning Adhere to standard infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies or related field Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
