Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Company:

LiveWell Partners Network Agency Compensation:
Pay per visit, $44 - $48 per routine visit, Minimum Expectation of 30 visits/week (60 visits bi-weekly), Mileage reimbursed at $0.67/mile, Payroll is processed bi-weekly (26 pay periods).
Shift Type:
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM (flexible), In the field/On the road at 15-30% of the average 40 hour work week.

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) works as a collaborative member of a patient's care team, working across the internal interdisciplinary care team, physicians, and other stakeholders in our patient's care.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the physical therapist in following physical therapy care plans. Prepares clinical and progress notes and helps develop the treatment plan (revising as necessary). The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) performs PT services in line with the care plan and physician orders. Consult with the physical therapist regarding changes in treatment. Instruct patients and caregivers on in-home programs and activities of daily living. Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to contribute to patient updates, discharge planning, etc. Advises and consults with agency personnel and patient family/caregivers. The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) confirms on a weekly basis the scheduling of visits with the supervising physical therapist, care team, office staff, etc. At LiveWell Partners, we strive to provide a fulfilling career where each team member has rewarding opportunities to positively impact our patients' lives.
