Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative therapy team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting in Beech Grove, IN . This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys building relationships with patients, working closely with an interdisciplinary team, and helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence following illness, injury, or hospitalization. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and plan of care established by the Physical Therapist Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, gait, transfers, and overall functional independence Carry out individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercise programs Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and use of assistive devices Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Support safe discharge planning and achievement of patient-centered goals Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Indiana PTA license or ability to obtain prior to starting Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, geriatric, or post-acute experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team New graduates are encouraged to apply Why You'll Love This Opportunity $35-$42/hour Full-time position Consistent schedule and patient caseload Collaborative therapy environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' mobility and independence Growing therapy organization with opportunities across Indiana If you're a Physical Therapist Assistant looking for a full-time opportunity in the Beech Grove/Indianapolis area , we'd love to connect with you.
