Job Description

Overview New Englander Chiropractic Center is looking for a new addition to the team. Very flexible hours and looking for either a part or full-time employee. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Chiropractic Assistant/Office Manager, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while efficiently managing daily office operations. This energetic position combines clinical support with administrative leadership, ensuring smooth clinic functioning and a positive experience for every patient. You will be empowered to utilize your administrative and organizational skills to foster a welcoming environment, streamline processes, and support the health and well-being of our community. Responsibilities Assist chiropractors with patient intake, including gathering medical history, recording vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately, ensuring all documentation aligns with medical standards and privacy regulations. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and guiding patients through their treatment plans. Oversee clinic operations by managing appointments, maintaining medical supplies, and coordinating with vendors or insurance providers. Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and other regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean, organized office environment while fostering a positive team atmosphere focused on patient care and operational excellence. Qualifications Preference for proven experience in medical office management or administrative support within healthcare settings such as dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics. Preference for familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, electronic health records management, and ICD coding. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to handle sensitive patient information discreetly and professionally. Ability to make patients feel valued and at home in the office and when making appointments. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
