Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Implement various physical therapy treatments including skilled interventions focused on improving patient health and wellness. Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately following established standards and protocols. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions while adhering to safety guidelines. Maintain comprehensive medical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) management. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses and administrators. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to explain procedures, address concerns, and support ongoing care plans. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology. Proficiency in physical therapy treatment implementation including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise focused on improving strength and therapeutic activity focused on improving function and mobility. Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation standards to ensure accurate recordkeeping. Ability to operate medical equipment safely and manage electronic health records efficiently. Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and caregivers compassionately and clearly. Flexible and motivated approach that is focused on building the therapeutic alliance. Applicants must hold current relevant professional credentials.
