About Us Big Rock Physical Therapy is a private, locally owned outpatient physical therapy clinic. We are passionate about providing individualized care in a supportive and empowering environment. We are looking to expand our team with a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who shares our commitment to excellence. Position Summary The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans for a diverse population of patients. You will play a key role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals while contributing to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises, manual techniques (as appropriate), and modalities Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist Educate patients on prescribed home exercise programs and self-management strategies Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care Participate in continuing education and staff development initiatives Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current North Carolina PTA license (or eligibility to obtain) Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Ability to work effectively as part of a team New graduates are welcome to apply Preferred Qualifications Outpatient orthopedic experience (clinical rotations acceptable) Interest in community outreach or patient education initiatives Benefits Competitive salary Continuing education stipend License reimbursement Professional development support Flexible schedule and a supportive team environment Relocation assistance (if applicable) How to Apply Please send your resume and any relevant certifications to terra.shank@bigrockpt.com This list of duties is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that senior management may deem necessary.
