Job Description
Link Rehab and Wellness is looking to hire a passionate Lead PTA , interested in working at an assisted living facility. The Lead Therapist is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations of the therapy team onsite. This is a great opportunity for a therapist to grow in their career and broaden their managerial skill set!
Responsibilities:
Caseload development for all disciplines (OT/PT/ST) Supporting therapy staff (provide staff oversight, staff scheduling, patient scheduling, coverage) Creating and maintaining relationships with center management Ensuring highest level of integrity and ethics are upheld by therapy team Assist with retrieving scripts/doctor's orders as requested by DOR Complete evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation in a timely manner and in accordance to CMS guidelines and as allowed by license Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician and allowed by license Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care Adhere to scheduled hours Demonstrate professionalism at all times
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or university
License and Certification :
Valid professional state license and registration
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, families, and other stakeholders.
Leadership Abilities:
The ability to inspire and lead a team, manage conflicts, and make strategic decisions.
Clinical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment, and treatment techniques.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
