We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled team at Cliffside Rehabilitation & Residential Health Care Center. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive rehabilitative care to our residents. Working under the guidance and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, you will assist in implementing personalized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and helping individuals regain optimal physical function and independence.

Job Details:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Monday to Friday (opportunities for weekend work if interested) 8-hour shift 1099

Positions AvailableResponsibilities:

Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to evaluate residents' physical abilities,strengths, and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans. Assist in implementing therapeutic interventions, exercises, and modalities toimprove residents' mobility, strength, balance, coordination, ambulation,and functional independence. Guide and instruct residents in performing prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities toensure proper technique and safety.progress, record observations, and communicate findings to the supervisingPhysical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.therapeutic equipment and assistive devices effectively and safely duringtreatment sessions.and guidance to residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutictechniques, exercises, and home exercise programs to support continuity ofcare.and timely documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and otherrequired records in compliance with regulatory standards.other healthcare professionals, including occupationaltherapists/assistants, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians, toensure coordinated and holistic care for residents.and professional standards as set forth by relevant regulatory bodies andprofessional associations (HIPAA compliance).

Qualifications:

Monitor residents' Utilize Provide education Maintain accurate Collaborate with Adhere to ethical Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current and valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in NYSin a skilled nursing facility or geriatric care setting is preferred.computer skills for documentation and record keeping. Proficient Pay:

$38.00 - $40.00 per hour
