Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full-Time Eastern Star Home and Campus | Oriskany, NY $27-$32/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Post Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of the therapy team at Eastern Star Home and Campus. Work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on treatment that helps residents improve mobility, build strength, and make meaningful progress toward their rehabilitation goals. What You'll Do Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Guide residents through strengthening, gait, balance, transfer, endurance, and mobility activities Follow established plans of care based on individualized resident goals Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation Work collaboratively with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals What We Offer $27-$32/hour Full-time schedule Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education opportunities Supportive interdisciplinary therapy team Skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation experience Opportunities for career development Qualifications Active New York PTA license required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply If you're a PTA who enjoys helping residents improve movement, confidence, and functional independence, we encourage you to apply.
