Full Job Description Manual & Sports Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our established outpatient practice in the Hamptons. Our primary need is in our Sag Harbor office, with occasional flexibility to provide coverage in Southampton. We are open to either a full-time or part-time arrangement depending on the right candidate's experience, availability, and fit with the practice. A Physical Therapist is preferred; however, we will gladly consider an experienced, motivated PTA who is confident working in a busy outpatient environment. About the position This clinician will provide individualized care to a diverse outpatient population, including orthopedic, post-surgical, active adult, athletic, and general rehabilitation patients. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical judgment with a practical, hands-on approach and communicates well with patients, providers, aides, and front-office staff.

Responsibilities For Physical Therapists:

Perform comprehensive evaluations and establish individualized plans of care Provide evidence-based therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and other appropriate interventions Complete progress evaluations, discharge planning, and required clinical documentation Communicate with referring providers and other members of the patient's care team Direct and supervise PTAs and physical therapy aides as appropriate Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation

For Physical Therapist Assistants:

Provide treatment according to the supervising Physical Therapist's established plan of care Monitor patient response and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT Progress exercises and interventions within the established plan and scope of practice Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Work collaboratively with PTs, aides, and administrative staff Qualifications Current New York State PT or PTA license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant program Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and dependable Outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation experience is preferred Manual therapy experience is a plus New graduates with strong clinical preparation are welcome to apply Ability to work primarily in Sag Harbor and provide occasional Southampton coverage

Compensation Physical Therapist:

$55-$70 per hour

Physical Therapist Assistant:

$35-$42 per hour Compensation will be based on license, experience, schedule, employment status, and clinical background. Manual & Sports Physical Therapy has served the East End since 1989. We are looking for a clinician who values excellent patient care, professional accountability, and being part of a close-knit community practice.

Pay:

$35.00 – $70.00 per hour
