Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Therapy & Wellness Connection is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our pediatric therapy team on a very part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a PTA looking to add a few consistent hours to their current schedule while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. Position Details Part-time - approximately 5 hours per week currently Potential opportunity for hours to increase as our PT caseload grows Pediatric outpatient setting Work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Collaborative environment with PT, OT, Speech Therapy, ABA, and other pediatric professionals Flexible scheduling based on caseload and availability
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Valid Ohio license to practice as a Physical Therapist Experience working with pediatric populations Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and practices Effective interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a clinical setting Specialization in a specific area of physical therapy, such as early intervention, autism, and pediatrics Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Why Join Therapy & Wellness Connection? We are a growing pediatric therapy center providing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy, ABA, social-emotional programming, and other supports for children and families. Our model gives clinicians the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines rather than working in isolation. This position is intentionally small to start— about 5 hours per week —making it ideal for someone who already works elsewhere, wants a small pediatric caseload, or is looking for additional clinical hours. As our PT program and caseload expand, additional hours may become available.
