Physical Therapist / Physical Therapist Assistant (PT/PTA) UPMC Cole Rehabilitation Services Casual (PRN/As Needed) Looking for flexibility while making a meaningful impact in your community? UPMC Cole is seeking either a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a casual, as-needed basis. This position provides coverage for vacations, leaves of absence, and fluctuations in patient volume across our outpatient clinics and inpatient rehabilitation services. Coverage opportunities may be available at our rehabilitation locations in Coudersport, Port Allegany, Shinglehouse, and Smethport. Schedule Casual, as-needed position Variable daylight hours based on department needs Coverage opportunities in both outpatient and inpatient settings What You'll Do As a member of our rehabilitation team, you'll help patients improve mobility, restore function, manage pain, and achieve their highest level of independence. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services within the scope of your professional licensure. Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans (PT). Implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PTA). Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, rehabilitation plans, and home exercise programs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety, customer service, and exceptional clinical care. Current Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
Salary Range:
$35.22 - $52.18/hour Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility) in the practicing state.
Salary Range:
$22.56 - $32.13/hour Licensure, Certifications & Clearances (PT & PTA) BLS or CPR certification required within 30 days of hire Act 33 Clearance Act 34 Clearance Act 73 FBI Clearance Ready to Apply?
