Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our private physical therapy and fitness practice in Goose Creek, SC. Our focus is on providing quality, hands-on, and individualized care for a wide range of conditions, from general medical to orthopedic cases, using evidence-based treatment protocols to achieve the best functional outcomes.
Skills:
Strong background in evidence-based practices with a solid understanding of treatment protocols. Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally, while handling feedback from patients, families, and colleagues, whether positive or negative. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues. Must effectively communicate with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians. Able to work with individuals from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, as well as patients with varying personalities and conditions, while maintaining professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and other sensitive work-related information. Follow care of plan instructions provided by Physical Therapist. Deliver optimal care throughout the patient journey—from evaluation to treatment and discharge—by executing evidence-based care plans tailored to each patient's diagnosis and needs as provided by the Physical Therapist. Recognize when patient needs fall outside the scope of physical therapy and provide feedback to refer them to appropriate specialties. Encourage healthy lifestyles by developing nutrition and hydration plans, as well as post-discharge fitness and wellness programs, to support recovery and help patients return to their prior levels of activity. Collaborate with other care team members to achieve patient treatment goals. Track patient progress and communicate updates effectively to patients. Qualifications New graduates welcome
