What We Offer Positive and collaborative team environment Comprehensive benefits effective the first of the month 401(k) retirement plan with generous company match Generous paid time off accruals Paid holidays Mileage reimbursement Tuition reimbursement Employee referral program Merit-based increases Employee discount programs Work-life balance What You'll Do Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care and state practice guidelines Assist patients in relieving pain, restoring function, and achieving maximum performance Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer activities, and functional mobility tasks Administer non-complex treatments such as therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, and physical modalities (heat, cold, water, and electrical stimulation) Instruct, motivate, and support patients in improving functional abilities Observe patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist Assist with clinical documentation and ensure timely submission of notes and progress reports Report changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist and Director of Nursing/Director of Therapy Educate patients on the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (Associate's degree in science or applied science) approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Current PTA license in the state of practice At least one (1) year of experience as a PTA (preferred) Current CPR certification Ability to perform home visits and provide care in a home environment Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance Serve patients where they live.
