Responsibilities include:

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence. Ensure resident safety, comfort, and engagement throughout therapy sessions. Document treatment sessions accurately and timely according to facility and regulatory standards. Educate residents, families, and staff on exercises, transfers, mobility techniques, and safe use of adaptive equipment. Assist residents in achieving functional goals and maximizing independence. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, care planning, and discharge planning. Maintain a positive, resident-centered approach to rehabilitation. What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current and valid Virginia PTA license and registration. Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatric rehabilitation preferred, but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
