Job Description

Glenwood Medical Associates, PC seeks a Physicians Assistant to provide high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative, multi-specialty setting. The PA will evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, perform exams and office procedures, order and interpret tests, and develop patient-centered treatment plans. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams in a multi-specialty outpatient setting Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions under supervising physicians Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and coordinate referrals Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care Document visits and care plans in the EHR accurately and timely Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care Participate in quality improvement, care coordination, and population health initiatives Contribute to a collaborative, respectful clinic culture and support community health efforts Required Skills Patient assessment and physical examination Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging Clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) Office-based procedures (e.g., suturing, joint injections, biopsies as applicable) Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) Preventive care and wellness counseling Care coordination in a multi-specialty practice Evidence-based clinical decision making Patient and family education
