Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Internal Medicine/Urgent Care team in Newington, Connecticut. This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care to a diverse patient population. Working collaboratively with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting preventive care and overall wellness. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care and internal medicine services to patients across the adult population. Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records (EMR). Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress to achieve optimal health outcomes. Perform sutures and wound care Oversee X-Rays w/X-Ray Technician, and or lead MD. Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of Connecticut. Previous clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Primary Care , or a related specialty preferred. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Current and updated CV required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive annual salary: $120,000 - $135,000.
