Collaborative Team Environment
Established Onboarding and Ongoing Mentorship Position Highlights As an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider, you will work collaboratively with experienced physicians and APP colleagues while practicing the full scope of your training and expertise.
You will evaluate and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries, providing timely, patient-centered care in a highly respected urgent care network. Clinical Responsibilities Include Treatment of acute illnesses and injuries Laceration repair, suturing, and staple removal Incision and drainage procedures Splinting and casting Wound care management EKG interpretation Preliminary X-ray interpretation IV therapy and medication administration DOT, occupational, sports, and school physicals Care for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics Schedule Full-Time | 38 Hours Per Week I Flexible schedule for Part-time 24 hours Rotating schedule within clinic hours:
Monday-Friday:
8:00 AM - 8:00
PM Saturday-Sunday:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Weekend rotations are shared across the provider team. Practice Locations Providers may work at multiple Fairfield County locations, including:
Trumbull Fairfield Norwalk Westport Stamford Shelton Stratford Monroe Wilton Qualifications:
Required Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Connecticut APRN or PA license (or eligibility) FNP Board Certification or NCCPA Certification Minimum of two years of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience Comfortable treating patients of all ages Preferred Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine experience Occupational Medicine experience DOT certification or experience performing DOT physicals
