Oncology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant An oncology practice is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) for two separate openings supporting different specialties: Head & Neck & ENT Oncology Surgical Oncology Position Highlights Mix of clinic and OR responsibilities Typical day includes rounding on patients, going to clinic, seeing follow-ups, some new patients, and also having some OR days
Head & Neck Oncology:
Includes pre- and postoperative scoping. There is a heavy amount of follow-up that requires scoping, and training will be provided First-call responsibilities; call schedule will be discussed further during the interview process Opportunity for OR training Qualifications NP or PA experience required Clinic experience working closely with surgeons and a strong understanding of preoperative and postoperative care required Acute Care NP certification is not required Surgical or procedural experience strongly preferred First-assist experience is a plus, but not required Strong understanding of what to monitor for before and after surgery Willingness to learn and become comfortable with scoping for Head & Neck patients The People We're Looking For We want people who feel called to the work , not simply people looking for a job.
