Jefferson Hospital has a well-equipped emergency room, which utilizes hospital staff and contract physicians. Support services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients, and the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties. We're seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team at Jefferson Hospital.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

The Physicians' Health Group Physician Assistant is responsible for examining and diagnosing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and managing patient care under the direction of a licensed physician.

Position Requirements:

Master's Degree from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited program. Certification by the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE). Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Georgia. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS Certifications.
