Job Description

Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Provider, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes. This role requires proficiency in various medical practices and the ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments as needed. Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed. Manage acute pain management strategies and provide care for chronic conditions. Engage in telehealth consultations when appropriate. Experience Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas: Epic or E-clinical Works (will be trained) Internal medicine practices Medical office experience with emphasis on patient care Emergency medicine or urgent care settings Behavioral health and geriatrics Experience administering injections, phlebotomy, venipuncture, suturing and PAP exams. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards Familiarity with hospice & palliative medicine principles Proficiency in physical examinations and vital signs assessment Understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques We encourage candidates with diverse backgrounds in healthcare to apply.
