Job Description

CentraCare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Physician Scheduling Assistant. This position will serve as the primary coordinator of ER provider scheduling and clinic template work and will work with physicians, leaders, nursing staff and operational partners to ensure accurate coverage, provider productivity and uninterrupted patient care across Paynesville, Melrose, Sauk Centre and Long Prairie. The Physician Scheduling Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive provider schedules, including call coverage, rounding assignments, vacation requests, outreach services and in-basket coverage during provider absences. The position plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, provider productivity, patient access and continuity of care. To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage complex scheduling needs across multiple care settings. Schedule Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks Onsite Melrose Hospital/Clinic

  • Friday | 8-hour daytime shifts | Flexibility with hours but typically between the hours of 7:00 am
