Job Description

Physician Assistant for Established Nonoperative Spine and Pain Clinic We are a nonoperative spine and interventional pain management practice that will celebrate our one-year anniversary on 11/26. You will work alongside an experienced team, with onboarding and hands-on training with the physician to help you get up to speed. Ultimately, you will work in a team-based approach to help patients with back, neck, head, or peripheral joint or nerve pain. We offer a predictable schedule with the option to work 4 days per week or take advantage of a 12 pm end time on Fridays, with benefits: QSEHRA health plan 401(k) contribution Three weeks PTO Highly competitive $120,000-$140,000 base salary to start Team-based bonus model where the whole team wins together We will teach you the skills to review imaging, order procedures, and evaluate patients with persistent, often long-term pain from their head to their toes. Learn from an experienced, friendly, upbeat, and close team while helping the practice continue to grow. Our double board-certified physician performs procedures under X-ray in the back of the clinic, while clinic rooms are located in the front of our new, state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities See patients and perform independent patient evaluations once appropriately trained Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations Develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans Review and interpret appropriate diagnostic imaging, including X-rays and MRIs Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests Answer patient questions through the in-basket Educate patients about diagnoses and upcoming treatment options Assist in determining appropriate interventional pain procedures Perform in-office procedures and joint/trigger point injections, with specific training provided if needed Prescribe medications as permitted by applicable state law and clinic protocols Collaborate seamlessly with the supervising physician, radiologic technologists, and clinic support staff to optimize daily patient flow Provide services with the physician at a surrounding site if needed within approximately 30 minutes of North Branch Qualifications Active, unencumbered Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the State of Minnesota, required immediately upon hire Willingness to obtain a Wisconsin PA license; all licensing costs and administrative paperwork are 100% covered by the clinic NCCPA certification and eligibility to maintain certification Active DEA registration Fully up-to-date CAQH profile to ensure rapid credentialing Strong independent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Confidence working autonomously in an exurban/rural clinic setting after appropriate training Friendly, caring personality with strong communication skills Comfortable using technology and electronic medical records Team-first mentality; you prefer a collaborative, clinic-wide bonus environment over an individual RVU structure Interest in developing expertise in nonoperative spine and interventional pain management Compensation $120,000-$140,000 base salary About Sage Spine Pain and Nerve Center We are a specialized spine clinic dedicated to delivering world-class spine and pain care, including innovative international options for pain management. Pay:
$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
