Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Job Description Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team.

Our practice is led by Deepak Kademani, a nationally recognized oral and maxillofacial surgeon and offers a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and head and neck surgery including cosmetic and trauma related facial surgery. At Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery, each day we strive to create a collaborative, healing environment where fun, passionate people thrive. All providers and staff members are devoted to providing excellent clinical care for people of all ages. Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is centered upon caring, lasting relationships with patients and their families. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota. Certification by the appropriate national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA). Previous experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or a surgical specialty preferred. Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to satellite offices. New and experienced graduates welcome to apply
Pre-Operative Assessment and Preparation:
Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care.
Surgical Assistance:
Assist surgeons during delivery of anesthesia and surgical procedures
Post-Operative Care:
Provide immediate post-operative care and including wound management
Patient Management and Education:
Counsel patients on pre
  • and post-operative instructions
Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with surgeons Work collaboratively with another Nurse Practitioner. Travel to
Satellite Offices:
Periodic travel to our satellite offices Be available for shared on-call duties during weekends and evenings as needed. Location
