Physician Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Conduct physical examinations, review medical histories, and order or interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate. Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. Educate patients on their conditions, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate quality patient care. Follow established clinical standards, safety protocols, and applicable regulations. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted North Carolina license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Minimum of 2 years + of recent experience as a Physician Assistant Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
