Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant with a strong background in orthopedic procedures, spine evaluations, and patient care coordination to join our medical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth and development of our medical practice.
Duties:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation. Assist in orthopedic and spine procedures, including pre-op planning, intra-operative support, and post-operative management. Manage patient follow-ups, wound care, injections, suture removal, and medication management. Order and review imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT) and collaborate with surgeons to develop treatment plans. Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, surgical procedures, rehabilitation, and preventative care. Document all encounters accurately in EMR and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines. Participate in clinical rounds, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and support overall clinic workflow.
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills. Proficiency in orthopedic and spine examination techniques. Experience with surgical assistance and sterile-field protocols. Ability to read and interpret imaging studies. Excellent communication and patient-education skills. Strong multitasking, time-management, and organizational abilities. EMR proficiency and accurate documentation skills.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Clinic:
9 AM - 5
PM OR:
Varies, average 1-2 OR days per week Weekend on-call shared among 3-4 PAs (additional compensation)
Training:
Several weeks to months of shadowing current PAs in clinic/OR Work closely with physicians and physician assistants during onboarding

From $110,000.00 per year
