Physician Assistant -
Interventional RadiologyPosition Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Advanced Interventional & Vascular Services (AIVS) team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in a specialized field. No prior experience in interventional radiology is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help you succeed. This is a hospital-based position with rotation among multiple locations in Northern New Jersey, including Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, Bayonne Medical Center in Bayonne, and Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Possibility of on-call (telephone)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Interventional Radiology team in performing minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance (e.g., fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound). Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams. Educate patients and families about upcoming procedures, post-procedure care, and follow-up plans. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Document patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
Current Physician Assistant licensure in New Jersey. Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
