Job Description

Physician Assistant Locums Job in South Carolina | Monday to Thursday | Beginning ASAP
  • Ongoing | Assignment #117355 Coverage Details
  • Full-time coverage needed for 2 APPs until permanent providers are hired Shift Details
  • Monday
  • Thursday, 7:30 AM
  • 4:30 PM Requirements
  • Active Physician Assistant certification
  • Active South Carolina license
  • Active DHEC
  • Epic experience required Assignment Details
  • Setting:
    Outpatient
  • Patient volume: Average daily schedule of 18-20 patients
  • Conduct follow-up visits and evaluate new patients
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management in accordance with established clinical protocols and applicable regulations
  • Document patient assessments, treatment decisions, and care plans accurately and promptly
  • Coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients, registered nurses, and the supervising physician
  • Support Staff:
    Experienced support staff available
  • Supervision:
    Physician is onsite 3 days per week for collaboration, consultation, and clinical support
