We are seeking a motivated, patient-centered Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide both outpatient medical weight management and perioperative bariatric surgical care while working alongside experienced bariatric surgeons and obesity medicine specialists. Position Summary The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive patient care for individuals pursuing medical weight loss and bariatric surgery. This position plays a critical role in patient evaluation, treatment planning, perioperative management, and long-term follow-up care. The ideal candidate is collaborative, clinically skilled, and passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through weight management and surgical intervention. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Care Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients within scope of practice. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide medical management for obesity and weight-related conditions. Prescribe and manage weight loss medications when appropriate. Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic testing. Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Bariatric Surgery & Perioperative Care Support patients through pre-operative and post-operative bariatric surgery care. Assist surgeons in evaluating surgical candidates. Participate in perioperative management and recovery care. Perform procedures within scope of practice including suturing, wound care, injections, and other approved clinical procedures. Serve as First Assist during credentialed surgical procedures. Participate in patient rounding, follow-up care, and discharge planning as needed. Patient Support & Communication Provide telephone consultations and triage support. Coordinate care with specialists and referring providers. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families. Promote health maintenance, disease prevention, and long-term wellness strategies. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current Washington State Physician Assistant License. NCCPA Certification. Current BLS and ACLS certification. Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills. Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Master's degree. Experience in bariatrics, obesity medicine, or medical weight management. Experience assisting in laparoscopic or bariatric surgical procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff. Pay:

$120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
